It is important to look at your space with fresh eyes (or try to look with fresh eyes) before picking out your color. One of the most important things to consider is how much natural light you have in your living room. There’s no such thing as too much light, it is just that brighter colors will look different depending on the light. In some cases, it can look like a completely different color! Consider the amount of lighting you have before anything else. This is why it is important to use those paint samples!

Another important concept to consider is if you have an open space concept. Does your living room evolve into your dining room, or are they completely separate? If you are only planning for your living room walls, there are fewer considerations to think through.
