Steps:

3. You will need to mark the wall to indicate where the holes should be as directed on the mounting bracket instructions. Use your level to make sure everything is lined up appropriately. 
4. Attach your mounting bracket to the wall using the screws included in your wall mount kit. Also, attach the mounting plate to the tv if you haven’t done that already. 
5. You are now ready to mount the tv on the wall. Depending on the tv size, you may need someone to assist you in attaching the tv to the wall mount bracket.

Since you now have a new focal point in your bedroom, you should consider ways to incorporate your new flat-screen into your room décor.  Luckily there are many ways you can enhance or detract from the tv and those ways range from simple to complicated. 

One easy way to showcase the new tv is with statement fixtures on the wall. A few well-placed wall sconces, framed photos or artwork would make your tv look like a natural part of your display.

A shelf, cabinet, or book case you already own is actually a great way to hide cords or hold other devices such as DVD player, speaker or sound bar. These options would also act as functional pieces to organize other bedroom items as well.

Other creative ideas that would be a bit more time and labor intensive is to hide your tv behind sliding doors or a fabric panel.
